Latest Update – Week of June 29^th, 2026

Current Work

• Tree stump removal has been completed throughout the project area.
• Installation of barricades for the temporary pedestrian walkway has been completed.
• Crews are performing boring operations in preparation for upcoming water main installation.
• Contractor mobilization and site preparation activities continue throughout Segment 1.

Traffic Impacts

• CTH U remains closed to through traffic between South Biron Drive and Badger Street.
• The posted detour route remains in effect.
• Pedestrians are encouraged to use the designated temporary walkway and follow all posted signage.
• Motorists are encouraged to follow all posted signage and traffic control devices.

Construction Progress

• Segment 1 construction activities remain on schedule.
• Preparations are underway for the next phase of utility installation work.
• No construction work is planned for Friday this week.
